Many people ask about the sixth century icon of the Mother of God that was in the Temple Gallery a few years ago ( click here to view ) and which was reproduced in Sister Wendy Beckett's Encounters with God: In Quest of the Ancient Icons of Mary (Continuum, 2009). The exact facsimile reproduction we made for the BBC Arena film Sister Wendy and the Art of the Gospel was highly successful and we have now published an edition. It consists of a photographic print laminated onto a thin board 54 x 30 cm. These are available at £95 including VAT, excluding postage and packing.
We have used the same technique for a facsimile of the exquisite small Russian Virgin and Child that was here in the Temple Gallery in the summer of 2016 ( click here to view ). The cost is £75 including VAT, excluding postage and packing.
